THE ALL STARS MAKEUP CHALLENGE PRESS RELEASE

The stage is set for the first and biggest makeup competition ever to be staged in the University of Lagos. On the 18th of September 2015, The All Stars Makeup Challenge will take place at the Amphitheatre, Unilag.

The event is being hosted by Unilag All Stars, a Student Organization in the University of Lagos, which is a platform for discovering, nurturing, inspiring and promoting talents and skills amongst Unilag students in conjunction with some notable sponsors and media partners.

The All Stars Makeup Challenge is the first of its kind being organized in the University and it will feature interested Unilag Makeup Artistes from Akoka, Radiography and Idi Araba campuses of the University.

Interested Makeup Artistes for the competition are to purchase registration forms from designated outlets in the University which includes P.M.G Supermart Unilag, Studio de Best Unilag and COMPSSA Building Medilag at the rate of N2, 500. A passport photograph and a copy of course form is required to be submitted alongside the filled registration form.

Makeup Artistes will come along with their own makeup kits and facial model of their choice on that day. After completion of the set tasks, the winner and runner ups will go home with a range of prizes which include;

1st prize: N50, 000, UN-LIMITED LA Job, a batch of Customized Business cards, Makeup products and Brand ambassadorship
2nd prize: N30, 000, a photo portfolio contract, a batch of Customized Business cards, Makeup products and Brand ambassadorship.
3rd prize: N10, 000, School Fees Grant, a Batch of Customized Business cards, Makeup products and Brand ambassadorship.
Furthermore, the winner will be awarded with the official title of ‘UNILAG’S MOST TALENTED MUA’ by our special guests and judges.

Apart from the Makeup activities on that day, there will also be other side attractions which includes but not limited to music performances, fashion runway, fair stands and dance performances by our students to mention a few. Guests present at the competition ground will be treated to light refreshments, as they cheer on their choice Makeup artistes to victory.

The All Stars Makeup Challenge 2015, is another initiative of Unilag All Stars, in which talented and skillful are being showcased, promoted and rewarded.
