CHARITY WITH ART 1.0 : OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Our non-governmental organisation, charity with art, consists of a team of 5 artists; Ayanfeoluwa Olayemi Olarinde, Osamudiamen Azamegbe, Kosi Okafor, Michael Onalaja, Majekodunmi Adebowale. Our organisation aims at helping the less privileged, children and others (orphans in general), by enriching their lives through the art medium, both as a means of expression and source of funds. This year we plan to achieve this goal through a charity program in conjunction with ‘One Stop Motivate’ at the Children centre orphanage in our ‘charity with art 1.0’ (CWA1.0) campaign.

To use rich diverse expressions of art to enrich another, because not he who has much is rich, but he who gives much.

To influence the world at large with the beauty in creativity.
What is charity with art 1.0?
Art is a language which shows beauty in all and sends a message of hope and happiness across the world. It is a gift meant to be enjoyed by all, privileged and otherwise. The Charity with art 1.0 campaign aims to bring this beauty and happiness that is art to orphans.
Charity with art 1.0, which is the first campaign from the CWA (Charity With Art) team, is set to change the lives of the children at the Children centre orphanage at Idi-araba, Lagos.The campaign runs in two parts:
Art workshop (skill acquisition) for the children at the orphanage.
Open house art exhibition for the orphanage.
These events will hold on the 3rd and 10th September, 2016 respectively.
The art workshop which is on the 3rd September, 2016 will be held for the children. Its main goal is to imbibe art into the children and teach them basic art skills, all the while letting them have as much fun as they want.
The exhibition will be an open house event, that is it is open to the general public, and it will also be holding in the premises of the Orphanage. Art donated by several artists will be put on display and will be up for sale. All funds generated through the course of the exhibition will be donated to the Children centre orphanage. The exhibition is the main event aimed at raising as much money as possible for the Children centre orphanage.
